Firefox vs Safari
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I was asked the other day why I preferred Firefox over Safari on my Mac, and I realized it was a very hard to quantify why I felt that Firefox was a better browser. Maybe the sites viewers can help me out or set me straight but this is what I have so far.
- Firefox is simply more effective at rendering web pages on my G4 Titanium Powerbook and Dual 1.25 G5.
- Safari is prettier.
- Firefox offers extensions and toolbars that are useful.
- Safari is better integrated with Mac OS X.
- Bank sites prefer Firefox over Safari? This used to be true but maybe I stand corrected
- Safari does RSS better.
- Firefox emulates Safari’s interface.
- Safari doesn’t need a theme.
- Firefox looks like the browser on my PC.
- Safari has .mac
- So does Firefox.
- Yahoo Mail does not work in Safari (Thanks nerfball)

Its not a big deal, but Yahoo’s new mail is not supported.
Sorry, Yahoo! Mail Beta does not support your browser.
You can either download a compatible browser or proceed to the original Yahoo! Mail.
Come on Apple this IS YAHOO!

the only advantage of safari is a beautiful interface. safari doesn’t support plugin like firefox. I’ll choose firefox.
