Its not like Google to follow another company, but it appears that Google will be following AOL into the free domain name game.  References were found in the Gmail for your domain beta that hinted to the fact that Gmail as well as Google Page Creator, Blogger, and Picasa Web Albums will allow users to use their own domain name.  Strangely google will not be showing ads on anything but Gmail, which makes you wonder why?  My guess is to lock users into a service because their domain is held by Google.  My biggest concern is with both AOL and Google offering free domains, how will this impact domain name prices and choice?  Hopefully Google will offer a domain buy back program that will allow you take ownership of your own domain, then again for free you might not care. Es ist nicht wie bei Google ein anderes Unternehmen zu folgen, aber es scheint, dass Google wird in den folgenden AOL kostenlose Domain Name game. Referenzen wurden in der Google Mail für Ihre Domain Beta angedeutet, dass die Tatsache, dass Google Mail als auch Google Page Creator Blogger und Picasa-Webalben wird den Usern erlauben, ihre eigene Domain name. Merkwürdigerweise google werden nicht von Anzeigen auf alles andere als Google Mail, die Sie sich wundern, warum?  Meine Vermutung ist, zu sperren Benutzer in einen Dienst, weil ihre Domain statt Von Google. Meine größte Sorge ist, mit AOL und Google bietet kostenlose Domains, wie werden die Auswirkungen dieser Domain-Namen Preise und Wahl?  Hoffentlich Google bietet eine Domain Rückkauf-Programm, das Ihnen erlaubt, den Besitz der eigenen Domain, dann wieder Kostenlos für Sie vielleicht nicht Versorgung.

    I won’t be surprised if Google will indeed register the “free” domain name under their own name. Ich werde nicht überrascht sein, wenn Google registrieren, wird in der Tat die "free"-Domain-Namen unter ihrem eigenen Namen. But yes, it’ll be in their best interests to: a) offer a buy back program to allow the user to gain ownership of the name, and b) spell it out in the legal fine prints. Aber ja, wir werden es in ihrem besten Interesse: a) bieten ein Programm zum Rückkauf ermöglichen dem Nutzer, sich das Eigentum an den Namen, und b) spell it out in der Rechtsform feine Ausdrucke.

    There’s no such thing as a free lunch, after all. Es gibt nicht so etwas wie ein kostenloses Mittagessen, nachdem alle. ;)
