The world is Google mad and people will Google just about anything they see and what they see in large numbers is TV. With the converging markets of TV and PC and video playing a central role in the new “Web 2.0″ it is worth a webmaster or blogger’s time to write about what they see on TV or video. With the advent of the TIVO and other PVR devices consumers are now either not watching commercials or watching them at three times the speed. TV and web marketers have realized that this is a new age of ad supported video and are quickly looking for new ways to product place and domain name drop to get traffic to web sites where they can further communicate with their possible customer.

It proves that the convergence between TV and computer have already occurred, people are watching TV with computer or laptop at hand. Just think of the possibilities of a lead character of a popular show wearing a T-Shirt with noheat.com on it, you might be reading this for a whole other reason.

So if you are looking to harness the traffic TV creates, ask the questions that the showâ€™s viewers may have on your website. The question need not be answered but given a forum to be answered. The content on TV and even a commercialâ€™s content can drive your traffic, and you thought all of those years of watching TV would never pay off.
