Timetraveling phone calling website calls the future

Callthefuture.org calls a future you at a designated future time from a designated future number and reads off a message in a computerized future voice. This is a great little Web 2.0 application for sending a reminder, pulling a prank, or excusing yourself out of a date or family event. If only Ted from “Bill and Ted Adventures” knew about this service he could have warned his future self with this instead on relying on the often unreliable time traveling phone booth.

Got something to say?

there are some other guys who have taken this concept a bit further - and their calls go through. the site is http://www.mobilealibi.com - I saw them featured on http://jritch.wordpress.com/2006/08/02/the-popularity-dialer/.
they have a free service and a premium service - premium service allows you to schedule calls remotely from a toll free number to creat alibi’s or excuses in ‘real-time’

don’t know why my text didn’t show up above, but I was writing about getting a mobile alibi - nevertheless, saw it on jritch’s blog. Takes the call the future idea a bit further in that you can schedule via the web or through their 800 number. Offers both free and premium services.
