Download and upload speed websites are a dime a dozen on the internet now a days, but this one actually allows you to view your bandwidth in the most accessable way that I can think of. I am not really sure why others measure bandwidth in a speedometer format but to each his own. Check it out.

Unresponsive script warnings in Firefox
When I upgraded to Firefox 2.0 I started getting some unresponsive script warnings on sites that use quite a bit of Javascript like Gmail. So after digging for quite a while I found a cure to the nagging script issue.

To fix it, you’ll need to access the hidden configuration page in Firefox. Just type about:config in the address bar and you’ll get a page full of hidden configurations which you can tweak till your heart’s delight.

Right click on Gmail messages to preview email
Maybe we missed it at noheat.com but gmail.com has a new feature that was unanticipated. When you right click on a gmail email, you get a preview of the email. Just one more way to view all of that wonderful email.
Update: Turns out this is a result of a GreaseMonkey Google script package called Gmail Conversation preview that I installed.
