New Mac Book Pro Revealed -Part 1 “The Case”

The image on the heading is NOT the Mac Book Pro but is a rendering we’ve seen that does look similar to the new Mac Book Pro.
We admit it we’ve been holding out on you. With our iPhone leaks getting worldwide attention we felt it neccessary to lay low and not reveal the source of our information. You see as much as we love spilling the beans we love knowing what the beans are and when they will be released. The good news is that the Mac Book Pro (still struggling with that name) is coming real soon and with so many peeking eyes it is safe to say that no one’s cover will be blown. Thats great you say show me a picture. Lets just say this if you see a actual picture of latest Mac Book Pro that somehow survived a plethora of Apple security it would imply that said image was almost certainly be a photoshop fake.
So on to the Mac Book Pro, in black. It appears the newest version of the Mac Book Pro is designed to look like a faithful companion to the iPhone with its glossy black surface. The one thing that jumps out at you will be Apple’s use of lighting technologies on the case of the Mac Book Pro (without raising battery consumption). We’ll start at the optional LED backlit display. We hear this will be very limited at intro and can save as much as 60% over current displays. You will find this to be an option only for the midrange displays. The display is very bright as compared to previous models with none of the color issues that have plauged previous LED backlit displays (at least not to my eye). The other thing that will jump out at you as the keyboard and trackpad. The keyboard is much brighter when in low light conditions, previous model’s LCD backlight would wash out the backlighting and this has seemingly been corrected by the much brighter keyboard (still adjustable).
The power key still located at the right is a little higher then the case and while glossy black and silver while off displays a crystal like green when on emulating the depth that you see on several OS X icons. The trackpad now lights up around the edges, there is also a chrome trim ring around the user areas that give the new Mac Book Pro an upscale look as compared to the entry level Mac Books. Also there is no analog trackpad button, although right click is now a standard feature, what you see is a slightly raised area under the track pad. The new trackpad button seems foriegn to use at first but after returning to my Mac Book I missed it, as the current Mac Book Pro’s trackpad button feels clunky in comparison. On the back is the standard issue Apple logo that now changes configuration (up & down) and undulates as you play music on iTunes. My very first thought is I wonder how quick someone will hack the logo.
On the back you will find the usual ports, notice I said on the back. Previous models had their ports on the side while this model does have its power port to the left, USB and Firewire reside in the back. There is a single audio out near the latch.

Bye to everyone!
maik midlooks
This can’t be right. This has two front buttons instead of the classic one in front of the trackpad. It also looks much thicker than the macbook pro I have. I hope this isn’t it because it would just be like 360 to 360 elite. Nothing to great, but buy it because it comes in black(and when it’s nice and shiny, it smudges). No thanks.
one question if thats a MacBook why does it have 2 buttons on the touch pad
Hi.
Good design, who make it?
You wrote quite an interesting article.
i’m hoping to have a mac book next month and hope that adsense will help me more
Man, I want a Mac soooo bad. The stupid laptop I’m using right now practically burn my legs while holding it. I hate PC’s, but I can’t afford a Mac. I need to save up and just get 1.
@ Dui
you might wanna do some research on macbook / macbook pro. Some people complained that it was too hot and that they can’t use it on their laps. And apple won’t do anything about it as they say the Macbook / macbook pro are “notebooks” and not “laptops” so technically you shouldn’t use it on your lap.
My MBP runs about 40 C during low usage and up to whopping 87 C during heavy usage + charging. On average, however, it runs about 55C to 60 C which is relatively good. Since I live in a tropical country, the environment is pretty warm here.
right i can’t still afford but i plan to have one this year..
Um… I think they pimp up the Macbook pro…
I pimped up my Macbook Pro with Macbook Pro Case
Nice macbook but i am happy with my desktop…
Man, I want a Mac Pro so badly! John Chow got one recently. He’s been raving about it. I just need the cash and it’s mine.

Man, the Mac Book Pro is my dream puter. I also like the Airbook, but it is more fashion than function. One day, I’ll be able to afford this baby…
