Skype killer is a word that I’ve heard to describe magicJack, this device is so simple my grandmother could install one on her PC and begin using VOIP. It remains to be seen how much a phone number will be and whether or not you get a voicemail, but as of right now I pay over $20 a month for Charter VOIP and if I can pay the projected retail of $50 and pay nothing else and be able to make FREE phone calls I will be first in line to buy a magicJack. Update:  I received a MagicJack from MagicJack.com the other day and I can tell you right now that it works as advertised.  I have never seen a simpler to use product.  There isn’t even a CD with it, the software and drivers are installed via a USB drive built into the device.  You simply plug it into your computer, plug in your phone, and start calling.  I cannot figuire out if there is way to configure the number you get which makes other pause when calling you but never the less I be replacing the VOIP offered by my cable company with the MagicJack.  The call quality is perfect and other than having to have both your PC and your internet on to make the call I can barely find a fault in its execution.  Update: Recebi uma MagicJack de MagicJack.com no outro dia e eu posso dizer - lhe desde já que ela funciona como anunciado. Nunca vi um quadro mais simples de usar produto. Não existe sequer um CD com ele, o software e drivers Estão instalados através de uma unidade USB embutido no dispositivo. Basta conectá - lo em seu computador, ligue para o telefone e comece a fazer chamadas. Não posso figuire fora se há maneira de configurar o número que você começa o que torna outros pausa quando chamando - lhe, mas A chamada qualidade é perfeito e que não seja ter que têm ambos o seu PC e seu Internet para fazer a chamada mal posso encontrar uma falha em sua execução.

More Update:  People tend to keep asking if you can hook up ANY phone to the MagicJack, the answer is YES.  Whether its a cordless phone to a cheapo $5 headset it will work. Se o seu telefone sem fio uma a uma cheapo $ 5 auricular vai funcionar.

    It is very similar device I saw it, I use google to search, someone call flashphone and come from mplat.com , and almost one years before. É muito semelhante dispositivo eu vi ele, eu uso a pesquisa do google, alguém chamada flashphone e provêm de mplat.com, e quase um ano antes.

    I guess, MagicJack don’t have core technology. Eu suponho, MagicJack não têm tecnologia.

    I got mine a few weeks ago and I love it. Eu comecei meu há algumas semanas, e eu adoro ele. Only problem is I can’t keep my DSL without the phone company’s phone service.
