Stream Pandora through flash on a Treo

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I seem to be streaming everything to my Treo and it looks like now Pandora is now one more thing that will be streaming to my Treo 700wx. I figuired if I could watch TV on my Treo with the SlingPlayer why couldn’t I find a way to listen to Pandora on my Windows Mobile device, and now I can. With a little software from TreoCentral I can now stream my Pandora playlist on the Treo!

    Ok I give how do you do this?

    Real simple actually,

    Click here
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/downloads/player.html

    Ok now install it on your Windows Mobile Device
    If you have a Treo you will need to tab down to click the OK button as the Treo’s screen is too small.

    Make sure you have a large storage card and as little running as possible as the cache will be high….

    Or you can take the drivers from TreoCentral

    Um, that website has PALM software, not pocketPC. You’d think he would READ the article before posting it.

    .prc== Palm OS installer
    .cab== Windows Mobile installer

    Fortunately someone just posted a link to the correct site…

    I installed the cab files directly to the phone but the Pandora pages hangs. I am using a 700wx and am on the Sprint EVDO network so speed shouldnt be an issue. I also have all my applications closed except for Internet Explorer.

    Anyone care to offer any insight? Thanks in advance.

    I am using Verizon XV6700 and I downloaded Opera and got Flash 7 for PPC and I’m able to get Pandora loading but I run out of memory. I have a 4 gig storage card and I’m wondering if there is a way to have Flash 7 use the storage card as its cash. Anybody got any ideas.

    The XV6700 has 64MB of RAM but Windows take most of it. I have 21.59MB Free.

    This is exactly why I love my i-phone so much. It’s just so much easier to use.

    There’s no doubt in my mind that the iPhone is much better. iPhones rule!

    iPhones are cute, they think they can do all of the things as a full-fledged smartphone but when it comes down to it they’re locked devices designed to create a market for Apple. Batteries aren’t user swappable, the SDK is a joke, there is no 3G support, all that for twice the cost of my Treo 750

    Treo User, but on the plus side… you get a comedy routine included with the first generation iPhone. I can’t say the iPhone 3G is any less funny though.

    iPhones are cool, but my Treo only sets me back 22 bucks a month and only cost me 180 bucks…how much is that iPhone again?

    iphone 3g 16gb is the best i think :) so much space!
