So the big news today in Diggnation is the mass revolt of much of the Digg users (now a mob) in regards to a DCMA take down notice revolving around decryption information for HD-DVD content. Così la grande novità oggi in Diggnation è la massa rivolta di gran parte del Digg utenti (ora di una folla) per quanto riguarda uno DCMA prendere dal bando di gara che ruota intorno decrittazione informazioni per HD-DVD contenuto. This is big news because thousands of people took notice that Digg was being “forced” to do something that by nature of its system was undemocratic, it was a beautiful thing to watch people stand up for what was right which is to protect freedom of information and speech.This got me thinking… If hundreds of thousands of people can see when something is wrong and stand up for our rights in regards to freedoms to backup and archive DVD content why couldn’t that same power of the people be harnessed to send a clear message to congress on the War in Iraq? Si tratta di grandi novità, perché migliaia di persone hanno preso nota che Digg è stata "costretta" a fare qualcosa che, per sua natura, del suo sistema è democratico, è stata una bella cosa da vedere persone alzarsi per ciò che era giusto, che è quello di tutelare la libertà di informazione E speech.This ottenuto mi pensare ... Se centinaia di migliaia di persone possono vedere quando c'è qualcosa di sbagliato e alzarsi per i nostri diritti in materia di libertà di backup e archiviazione di contenuti di DVD che il motivo per cui non poteva stesso potere del popolo essere sfruttata per inviare Un chiaro messaggio al congresso sulla guerra in Iraq?

Today congress is considering whether or not to overcome president Bush’s veto regarding a veto on the war effort. Oggi congresso sta valutando se non a superare presidente Bush di veto in materia di diritto di veto su lo sforzo bellico. Now I hate mixing politics with technology but maybe our congress (specifically those opposed to the bill passed by congress) can hear the mob of digg and make a difference.Could a democratic news site stand up for what is right and stop the war in Iraq? Ora, io odio la politica di miscelazione con la tecnologia, ma forse il nostro congresso (in particolare quelli contrari alla legge approvata dal Congresso) può sentire la folla di digg e fare una difference.Could democratica sito di news alzarsi per ciò che è giusto e fermare la guerra in Iraq ?

    i bet if each member sent one opinion to their respective representative something would happen. I scommessa se ogni membro ha inviato un parere ai rispettivi rappresentante qualcosa sarebbe accaduto. considering most of this country does not vote, even if we get a quarter of the digg users to send a message we’d probably have a big outcome (according to percentages and what not). Considerando la maggior parte di questo paese non votare, anche se avremo un quarto dei digg agli utenti di inviare un messaggio, che probabilmente hanno un grande risultato (in base alle percentuali e cosa no). sure it might not mean squat, but heck you try… kind of like saying voting doesn’t matter since you’re only one person. Certo che potrebbe non significa tozzo, ma si tenta heck ... come dire tipo di voto non importa quanto sei solo una persona. yahh… Yahh ...
