Google’s Adsense to try CPA and webmaster chosen content

Google Adsense is testing a new program that allows you to choose with kind of ads you display on your website instead of allowing the text on your site dictating what ads are shown. This program is new to Google in a couple of ways, it allows you to choose ads and it pays out when the user completes an action, such as buy a item or register. This is new territory for Google and is seen as a way to reduce click fraud and increase the relevance of traffic advertisers are paying for. Sign up to test the beta version.

Joeshmo, this a testing beta and will be a option and will not replace the current adsense revenue stream. I do have to wonder what this will do for current ad buyers because it might drop prices for some keywords because advertisers tend to rely on for sure things like CPA. However I don’t see any large drop, it may give many companies a reason not to bail out of the bidding war that is adsense right now.
