Is Microsoft infringing on one of Apple’s patents?  Its no secret Microsoft uses transparent windows in its new Vista operating system, and while no one thought they came up with idea, no one looked to find out exactly who did. مايكروسوفت هو التعدي على احد تفاحة للبراءات الاختراع؟ ولا يخفى عن مايكروسوفت ويندوز شفافة تستخدم في نظام التشغيل الجديد فيستا ، وحين لم يكن احد يتصور انها خرجت الفكره ، لا احد يتطلع الى معرفة من فعل بالضبط. During one of my searches of Google’s Patent search they have I found a interesting patent by Apple.  The patent describes a situation where a window that covers another would allow a certain transparency when you move the window over another.  In their words: أحد زملائي اثناء تفتيش google للبحث البراءات التي وجدت اهتمام البراءه من التفاح. البراءه يصف فيها الحاله التي تغطي نافذة اخرى تتيح لك بعض الشفافيه عند تحريك النافذة على آخر. في كلماتهم :

“displaying a base image on said display screen of said computer system; and "قاعدة عرض الصورة على شاشة العرض وقال ان نظام حاسوبي ؛ و
displaying a translucent image on said display screen which covers at least a portion of said base image, wherein said covered portions of said base image are at least partially visible through said translucent image simultaneously with said translucent image, the translucent image being always non-reactive thereby precluding user performance of image operations with the translucent image and permitting user performance of image operations with said base image without regard to the overlying translucent image.” عرض أي صورة شفافة على شاشة العرض وقال الذى يغطى على الاقل جزء من قاعدة قال صورة ، حيث قال : قال غطت أجزاء من الصورة هي القاعده جزئيا على الأقل وضوحا من خلال الصورة شفافة قال : قال احد مع صورة شفافة ، صورة شفافة يجري دائما عدم التفاعل وبالتالي منع المستخدم من اداء العمليات الصورة مع صورة شفافة ، والسماح للمستخدم الاداء صورة عمليات القاعده قالت الصورة دون اعتبار لاعتلاء صورة شفافة. "
Keep in mind I am not a patent researcher, and I am sure Apple is not going to sue Microsoft for abusing one of their patents, but it does at least look like Microsoft is abusing this patent.  نضع في اعتبارنا لست باحث براءات الاختراع ، وانا واثق التفاحه لن يقاضي شركة مايكروسوفت لاستغلال واحدة منها لبراءات الاختراع ، ولكنه على الأقل تبدو مايكروسوفت هو استغلال هذه البراءات.

    It’s an interesting read for sure, but doesn’t it just sound like someone’s nitpicking? انها مثيرة للاهتمام قراءة بالتأكيد ، لكنه لا يبدو انه مجرد شخص nitpicking؟

    I don’t know about the it. لا أعرف عن ذلك. I thought Linux’s KDE or GNOME already have that way before Mac. ظننت للينكس كيدي او جنوم بالفعل تلك الطريقة قبل ماك.

    It will be interesting if Apple will sue Microsoft few years later. وسيكون اهتمام اذا التفاحه سوف يقاضي شركة مايكروسوفت بعد سنوات قليلة.

    A closer read of claims 1, 12, 31, 40, and 41 show that the patent actually talks about manipulating the window underneath the translucent window and therefore Windows Vista wouldn’t infringe. توثيق قراءة المطالبات 1 ، 12 ، 31 ، 40 ، 41 ، وتبين ان الواقع يتحدث عن براءه التلاعب نافذة شفافة تحت نافذة ويندوز فيستا ذلك لن يمس. Since those claims are the controlling claims, anything else in the patent is mute and not applicatble. منذ تلك المطالبات المسيطر مطالبات من اي شيء آخر في البراءه هو ابكم لا applicatble.
