So is there a solution for bloggers out there who just want to add a picture to their website without firing up their digital camera, paying for stock pictures, or worst of all ripping off someone else’s content? Well of course there is, stock.xchng is a image site that helps you find a free (yes I said free) images to use on your site. Featuring easy to understand terms all you need to do is search, find, and download and the image is yours. You need only give the original artist credit usually, by listing them or by linking to them.

Got something to say?

We don’t use images at all, so have no interest in them. Still, we wanted to warn about the legal implications. Are you 101% sure there are no small “prints” that can get you into trouble? Just asking…
Just be sure to give credit to the photo creator, and read what kind of media the author releases the picture to.
I still thought you had to pay for them…where do you go for the free photos on that site??

You can buy here 24\7.
Thankyou for the photo link.
If it is free, I wonder how big their collection is although. worth checking out.
This is important, as it’s hard to find good pictures that are royalty-free. A great resource for any blogger/ webmaster who needs to post pictures on a regular basis.
