Add Space and Plugs to your Powerstrip

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I was preparing this article to publish when I noticed Lifehacker had a similar article, darn that Adam Pash and his Lifehacker groupies.  But wait I said, his tip only gets those power bricks out of the way, my tip actually adds an extra power plug to your powerstrip.  So I will go ahead and publish this anyway….

Need to make room for those bothersome powerbricks?  You know the ones that are the size of an actual brick and take up the 2 to 3 spaces on your powerstrip.  There is another way, for $3.99 Amazon sells a little adapter that not only relieves your power strip of the burdon of that pesky power brick clogging up presious space.  Not only does it relieve space on your power strip but it also adds another plug so you can now add something with a powerbrick and actually gain a plug.

Nice find! - Now all we need is a UK version, my desktop, monitor, printer and speakers use 4 power cables and loads of other cables - this would certainly give me more plugs for adding to my setup:D

Michelle Keller wrote the very interesting Profit, patents and progress in the Stanford Daily Online Edition. Let us hope the Science Commons movement translates into a transformation of scientific publishing indeed.
