Ever start typing only to have your cursor get in the way of what you were actually typing? Well some clever programmer made a piece of software that gets that pesky cursor out of the way so you can type. See the example above.
This one does exactly what you expect it to do while taking up only 40K.

[...] Windows only: Keep your mouse cursor from obscuring your text as you type with lightweight, freeware application MouseAway. As you can see from the animated GIF, MouseAway does just one thing: monitors the proximity of your mouse pointer to your keyboard cursor and, if they’re too close together, moves the mouse pointer out of the way. As is, mouse cursor obstruction has never been that big of a deal, but for a paltry 40K of RAM after running for a bit, MouseAway is easily worth a slot in your startup apps. It doesn’t work everywhere (like Firefox, for example), but this freeware, Windows only utility cuts down on unnecessary keyboard-to-mouse movement. MouseAway [via NoHeat] [...]

Hmm, an interesting app. Will give it a try.
wow, this is good, i always have to remove the cursor by the mouse, good to see some programmers with cool ideas!
I have it and I think is a very smart helpful program. Often when you type, the mouse cursor gets in your way and obscures your text. This tiny application called MouseAway was created just for solving this issue. MouseAway checks if your mouse pointer is near your keyboard pointer.
