Track your Packages visually with Google Maps Mashup
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Chances are you will be shipping some holiday gifts this year and while most of the carriers have excellent tracking a picture says a thousand words, thats why iSnoop is pretty cool. Watch your package visually as it is shipped to its location with their cool Google mashup. The service can get tracking for pretty much every shipping service out there (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL/AirBorne). If the googlemaps mashup isn’t enough grab their RSS feed and be updated by RSS! This is a must have in your bookmarks, beats going to each carriers website for sure.

I don’t think I would use this service as the major shipping companies offer the same service but vis their website. I don’t see the benefit of using Google when you can already use the tracking service of Purolator fed ex and ups.
I think this would be really useful if you use the regular old postal system tho!
Good info
That’s pretty cool. It’s a hassle going to several different websites just to check the progress of your packages.
This one is great. I have a similar one. http://packmapr.com. You can also create a link direct to tracking your package by just adding the tracking number to the end of the URL. like this: http://packmapr.com/1z0e154y0370063361.
Sounds like a great idea. Especially being able to visually see where the package is. Sounds easy too.
