The other day we reviewed L'autre jour, nous avons passé en revue Stick for Windows Stick pour Windows , but we’ve been finding some extra functionality in Stick every day and I thought I would follow up with a couple other things you can do with Stick. , Mais nous avons été de trouver un peu plus de fonctionnalité dans Stick tous les jours et je pensais que je suivrait avec un couple d'autres choses que vous pouvez faire avec Stick. Since I’ve installed Stick I have created a Gmail “Stick” or tab at the top of my screen so I can always get my gmail in a hurry. While I pretty much always have my Gmail open in Firefox there are times when my Firefox window gets buried and having a tab at the top of my screen to get my email makes sense since sticks overlay other programs. Bien que je sois presque toujours d'ouvrir mon compte Gmail dans Firefox, il ya des moments où ma fenêtre Firefox est enterré et avoir un onglet en haut de mon écran pour obtenir mon email est logique puisque bâtons superposition d'autres programmes.

Also I have realized that just about any widget can really be used with Stick. J'ai également réalisé que pratiquement n'importe quel widget peut vraiment être utilisé avec Stick. By putting in the html code in a text file, saving as html, and then linking up to the page with the Explorer tab I was able to put in just about any widget I could find. En mettant dans le code html dans un fichier texte, sauvegarde comme html, et ensuite relier à la page avec l'explorateur onglet j'ai pu mettre dans n'importe quel widget que j'ai pu trouver. So basically I now have any widget I want in a stick (or tab) beat that Google Sidebar. Donc fondamentalement J'ai maintenant je veux tout widget dans un stick (ou onglet) bat que Google Sidebar.

    Nice but… I wish the Tab title changes based on the URL title. Nice mais… Je souhaite à l'onglet titre évolue en fonction des URL titre.

    When you say you’ve got widgets running in a tab, what kind of widgets are you talking about? Quand vous dites que vous avez des widgets fonctionnant dans un onglet, quels types de widgets parles-tu? iGoogle widgets? IGoogle machins? Dashboard? Vista Sidebar? Vista Sidebar?

    A better explanation of what you mean and how to do it would be much appreciated. Une meilleure explication de ce que vous voulez dire et comment le faire, il serait très apprécié.

    I think he is looking for more info on installing a gadget into a stick… Je pense qu'il est à la recherche de plus amples informations sur l'installation d'un gadget à un bâton…

    1. Go to Go to http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open Http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open
    2. Select the Gadget you wish to install. Sélectionnez le gadget que vous souhaitez installer.
    3. Click “Add to your webpage” Cliquez sur "Ajouter à votre page Web"
    4. Configure your Gadget Configurez votre Gadget
    5. Press “Get Code” Appuyez sur "Get Code"
    6. Open Notepad and paste code into a new notepad Ouvrez le Bloc-notes et collez le code dans un nouveau bloc-notes
    7. Save file, making sure to change extension from .txt to .htm Enregistrer le fichier, en prenant soin de changer l'extension de. Txt. Htm
    8. Drag and Drop the file you create onto your stick. Glisser-déposer le fichier que vous créez sur votre bâton.

    I tried to make these instructions over simplified for people who are novices, it takes a matter of a few seconds to get your widget into your stick.     Vitaly, you can change the tabs title very easily. Vitaly, vous pouvez changer le titre des onglets très facilement. Just click on the properties. Il suffit de cliquer sur les propriétés.
