iGoogle and Apple’s Dashboard equal Schmedley

Most everyone I know has a iGoogle start page.  Almost everyone’s start page looks alike…bland, even mine.  That was until I discovered Schmedley.  Picture your iGoogle start page with a Apple Dashboard look.  True there’s not a ton of gadgets to be added yet but this has tons of promise.  Each gadget that gets loaded into Schmedley is loaded from a OSX like dock at the bottom.  Once you start playing with your start page you will find it super easy to customize and the gadgets are very well done.  My biggest pet peeve with this is the addition of extra gadgets.  It would be nice to import OSX gadgets into Schmedely and run them from there instead.  It would also to be able to access your gadgets from a hotkey.  If you want to add a little extra flare to your mashup start page this is definitely worth a look.

    Looks very nice, I find iGoogle quite boring, so this should help to uplift it a little bit :)

    I have not tried I google but the interface looks quite interesting all your links from one menu bar, much like the mac. Its certainly worth giving it a try thanks for bringing to peoples attention.
