First Steve Jobs now Samuel Jackson

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

For the life of me I can not figure out why someone would want to read the blog of a fake person.  First it was The secret diary of Steve Jobs now it seems like people are taking on the persona of just about anyone and everybody.  I ran across this site that looked and read like a Samuel Jackson blog but alas its another spoof site, this time without the funny or the satire.  Other than the obligatory MF this and MF that there really isn’t much content here, but looking at the sidebar of this blog you see not only has Samuel Jackson been fake blogging but Barack Obama, Gordon Ramsay, Nancy Grace (really?), Peyton Manning and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been fake blogging as well (yes the MFing president of Iran) like that guy can take a joke, these people are tap dancing on chemical land mines.  If those fake bloggers aren’t enough you can get some Rudy and Hillary action too (that sounds sick but really).

Odd eBay deal, Lifesize Starwars R2D2

Its the Christmas season, so what do you get your geek that has everything?  How about a partially built life size Star Wars R2 D2?  Yes your geek can revel in his Star Wars canon all the while talking to his own R2D2.  For only $4000 on ebay little R2 is a screaming deal!  (Some assembly required) Apparently making your own R2 D2 droid has its own following see link here.  I wonder if my 9 year old would throw his clothes in a R2D2 hamper? Hmm.  But wait!  There’s more act now and you can also bid on a lifesize Yoda “prop”.

“Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size,
do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force,
and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy
surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude
matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the
tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.”

Or maybe you’re more in the market for a lifesize EWOK?  So don’t stay stuck in carbonite get bidding and give your Star Wars geek something to cherish for eons.
