Gmail bumps regular email to 6 Gig - Our account gets almost 50 Gig
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Seems as if every time I pay for something on the web it ends up going free. Google announced today that Gmail storage was increasing from 3 Gig to 6 Gigs of space, still not matching the almighty Yahoo’s claim of unlimited space.
Interesting enough though was the fact that since I paid for 25 Gigs of space (more so for Picasa Web than anything) I now have almost 50 Gigs (42.9 Gig actually) of storage showing up in my Gmail. Many users around the web are reporting storage increases already of 1 Gig or more showing up on Gmail.

Upload to FTP by Right Clicking

I can never imagine how I lived without this title. Its something I really never knew I needed until I thought about how often I needed to ftp a file. All you do is right click on a file and go to RightLoad. This is where you select which server you want to upload a file to (you must configure these obviously). Then you click the destination and thats it you have just uploaded your file.
Send a spoken email or IM easily
Want to here some text spoken to you over the web, well why not who doesn’t. Expressivo goes even further by allowing you to post that text anywhere including IM and email in just one link. You can also choose up to 3 languages to have your text spoken in, albeit you only get English, Romanian, and Polish.
At the very least it should be good for a good phone prank.

Clean out your registry
It happens to even the best of us. You install a program and thinking its the best thing since sliced cheese, it turns out to be moldy cheese. You uninstall the moldy software and move on. A few weeks later after installing a few more moldy software titles you are basking in the glow of a bogged down PC that either responds with an error or a shrug. What next? Chances are your moldy software left behind a trail of junk. Thats where CCleaner comes in. Originally named Crap Cleaner which probably was a far more yet descriptive yet somewhat offensive name it digs through your registry to clean out old, unused, and corrupt entries.
Robot chair repairs itself

You have to watch this video, nothing can beat a robot chair that breaks itself and then puts itself back together. Sure it really has no use, but it sure is fun to watch.
Google Gadgets find you the best Craiglist Deal

Lately I’ve become a big fan of Craigslist.org. Wait you say you are supposed to be on the cutting edge of technology and you JUST now are getting into Craigslist.org. “Well yes” I say, not that I didn’t know about good old Craig I just didn’t realize the benefits in my area as there wasn’t much for sale in my immediate area. Now of course Craigslist is growing, I anticipate this is because people are tired of eBay and Paypal fees that could turn meaningful money into chump change in a hurry.
